Review Snapshot

It quickly locates and identifies possible problems that can slow down the computer.

Its license fees can add up to $90.00, which is excessive compared to other PC optimization programs.

Overall, I recommend this product for finding and identifying possible computer problems.

CompuClever "PC TuneUp Maestro" - FULL REVIEW

Name one thing that computer users absolutely hate, and it's usually this: slow computer performance.  While new computers are safe from the throes of sluggish, inoperable computers, older computers are often left vulnerable, thanks to multiple software installations and uninstallations, the infiltration of unwanted malware, and sometimes just plain bad luck.

Thankfully, one software program, called PC TuneUp Maestro, says it can fix the little, innocuous errors that can interfere with PC performance and make it downright impossible to start up the computer.  It's certainly not the first program on the market to do so--both PCOptimizerPro Startup Booster and TuneUp Medic offer roughly the same features--but interestingly enough, is the first program of its kind to be awarded the Brothersoft Editor's Pick Award.  Here's what this PC performance program has to offer.

What is PC TuneUp Maestro?

PC TuneUp Maestro is what is referred to as a PC performance program, which uses multiple features to speed up and optimize computer performance.  Most programs simply do this by fixing errors in the computer's registry; PC TuneUp Maestro goes a step further by optimizing hard drives and software programs to ensure faster PC speed upon start up.

To start, PC TuneUp Maestro first scans the computer for any problems that can slow down PC speed--such as the start up of programs that aren't critical for PC performance, useless registry entries, and sub-optimal hard drive setup.  Once it determines this, then it quickly goes to work to fix these problems--and you won't have to do a single thing.  Every step of the optimization process is completely automated, with just a click of a button.

After using PC TuneUp Maestro, I found it to be a very easy program.  Installation was easy and took only minutes to complete; starting up, scanning, and finding potential errors in my computer took no more than 10 minutes for me.  All of the program's features are clearly marked, so you won't accidentally click on the wrong feature--just click on the clearly-marked button to begin whichever process you desire, whether that's scanning the computer or optimizing your computer's settings.

After the necessary updates are fixed, simply exit the program and re-run the program whenever you want.  You can use it as a one-time fixer-upper or you can run it weekly to continuously optimize your computer--there are truly no limits to this program.  Just be warned that you can't fix any of these problems without paying its license fee, $49.95, which can only be installed on one computer.  Should you need to install it on more than one computer, you'll need to purchase its "family" license fee, which covers up to three computer installs for $39.95 more.

Cons of PC TuneUp Maestro

While using PC TuneUp Maestro, I found it very easy to use and install--so on a functional front, it presented no issues.  The only issue I had was with its "license" fees, which I found to be excessive, and in some cases, simply way too expensive.  For instance, if you want to fix the problems it has identified, you need to pay its license fee, which only covers unlimited use for one computer.  However, if you want to use it for multiple computers, you have to pay this fee plus a "family" license fee, which retails for $39.95.  Should you wish to install it on multiple computers, be prepared to pay at least nearly $90.00--yikes!

While PC TuneUp Maestro is certainly an effective and easy-to-use program, I still find these fees just too excessive, especially in comparison to other PC optimization programs which charge a fraction of this price.

Although I wasn't happy with its exorbitant fees, overall this program was easy to use, install, and effortlessly identified numerous errors within my computer.  Overall, I recommend PC TuneUp Maestro for finding and identifying possible computer errors.
