Voted 4/5 stars on cnet.com, the Kindle Touch is easily one of the top 10 e-Readers out there. With its ability to hold up to 3000 e-Books, light weight, and e-ink screen, it's a no-brainer as to why it's up there in the ratings.

The E-Ink screen makes this unit easy to read, just like reading a book, without the glare and back light that a computer or tablet has. It also has 16 different shades of grey. Using the touchscreen is simple, you just tap on the right side of the screen to go to the next page, or left side to go to the previous page.

Touching the top portion of the screen will bring down a toolbar and menu. There are only 2 physical buttons. One to power on or off, and one to bring you back to homepage.

The size and weight of the Kindle Touch makes it easy to hold and not get the heavy feeling after reading for long periods of time. The storage of this thing is pretty darn sweet, if you ask me. Really, where would you put 3000 books in your house? Exactly.

The Kindle Touch has WiFi, so you can connect wirelessly to an internet connection or WiFi hot spot to download your books. The 3G model makes it even easier to get books, newspapers, or magazines. You can download them from anywhere, rather than having to find a WiFi hot spot or other wireless internet connection. Plus it only adds another 0.3 ounces to the weight.

The one big thing I like about the Kindle Touch, is the fact that there's no need to lug around multiple books, ultimately taking up space, in your bag/purse/suitcase etc. After loading it up, there will be months, or even years, of reading material.

Another angle you could look at, is now there's a lot less paper being used to print out books! If you're worried about losing your books, no need to worry. There is a "Cloud" feature that automatically backs up the books you download, so if you do happen to lose them you can always re-download them.

X ray is another feature on the Kindle Touch. You can get details of characters, places and historical events.

Summary:

The Kindle Touch weighs about as much as a paperback novel, with a display screen about the same size as a paperback as well. It's easy to hold, being that it's only about 10 mm thick, and it's easy on the eyes. Holding up to 3000 books, you'll never run out of material to read.
