Pros
Great handling, ability to break down easily for storage and carrying and has all the features you need and want.

Cons
A bit heavy and on the higher end of price.

Verdict
A great, solid stroller system with everything you need at a reasonable price.

Why the Britax B-Ready Stroller is a Great Option for New Parents

Choosing the best stroller for your baby can be a daunting task, and considering the last time I had to purchase a stroller was nearly five years ago, there have been a number of changes over the years, and the challenge was rather difficult.

After I had my last baby, I thought it was my last baby and I donated and gave away all of our baby things. But alas, I had a surprise baby and now it was time to shop for all new equipment once again. A great stroller was one of the most important things on my list because I am active, have other older children and plan to take my new baby out and about a lot with me.

Time to Research

After spending hours researching, speaking with moms and testing a number of strollers out, I purchased the Britax B-Ready Stroller. Britax is known for their high quality car seats but it seems they may soon corner the market on strollers too.

Britaxís in-line double stroller solves many of the problems that some of the other in-line double stroller manufacturers have been plagued with. It uses a hybrid stroller frame that is similar to the UPPAbaby Vista but the wheelbase is longer on the B-Ready, making room for the second seat.

Convenience

One of the first things I noticed right away with this stroller is the ease that it can be taken in and out of the car. Any new mom knows how frustrating it can be to try to lug a big piece of baby equipment in and out of the car while youíre also trying to deal with an infant.
One of the biggest factors that sets this stroller apart is that it can actually fold with the second seat attached, making it easy to throw it in the trunk and ago without having a complete meltdown.

The toddler seat is also very convenient. The seat can accommodate a child up to 55 pounds, 10 pounds more than many of the other in-line double strollers. This means 2 of my older children could ride on it, too. It also has the ability to recline, where most other strollers seem to have just one position.

Wheels

Wheels are, of course, another very important factor. The wheels seemed to give it a very smooth ride, however, they do have a smooth plastic feel and I think more tread and tire-like grip might be better. They also have fenders on them which makes the stroller a little more bulky.

Storage

I give this stroller A+ for storage. The storage underneath the seat gives you lots of room and itís accessible from all sides.
Handle and maneuverability

The Brita-B offers one-handed maneuverability, and another huge plus is the fact that the handle is not too high for shorter persons, another negative I found in many other strollers. The grip was molded for one-handed steering, making this stroller so much easier to use.

Putting it to the test

Of course the true test for any stroller comes when itís put in use. I know how it is when something looks great in the store but doesnít function so well once you get it home. I didnít feel like this stroller fell into that category at all. I really enjoy using it, itís built strong and I imagine after I am done with it, I will pass it on to another mother who will also get a lot of use out of it.

Bad points?

If I had to come up with a negative, it is a bit heavy, but Iíll sacrifice that for the many positive aspects. The stroller has such a smooth ride we donít have to worry about waking baby by going over a little bump in the pavement. Folding and un-folding is done simply without any swearing on grandmaís part, and most importantly, baby seems very happy with the Brita-B as well.

Overall, I say moms and moms-to-be (and dads, too!) will love this stroller. Itís a little higher in price than many similar strollers but itís worth it for all the benefits.
