Revitol Cellulite Solution Review - Does it work?
Yet this simple pleasure is off limits to many women (and some men) not, as one would expect, because of understandable anxieties over weight, but because of cellulite, those stubborn pockets of fat under the skin, delightfully compared to 'orange peel' or 'cottage cheese'.
Not a description you would want for your skin!
Revitol Cellulite Cream attacks the problem where it lives: just beneath your skin.
Those bumps and lumps of cellulite are the result overfilled fat pockets collecting just below the surface. A difficult place for blood flow to reach.
However studies show that increased blood flow resulting from caffeine consumption helps reduce the appearance of cellulite.
And Revitol Cellulite Cream contains caffeine, so by applying it directly to the problem areas, the cellulite dimples can be reduced.
Caffeine is highly rated in cellulite reduction - it tightens blood cells, enhances fat metabolism and can reduce swelling that sometimes occurs around fat under our skin. So this is an ideal ingredient.
And no, you can't just drink more coffee or soda. The caffeine in drinks will never reach those remote cells with the same impact as topical application.
Revitol also include Retinal A, a derivative of Vitamin A which promotes healthier-looking skin. The combined formula of proven ingredients make Revitol a contender within the world of anti-cellulite creams.
With any skin-related issue, diet, exercise, hydration and medical advice will always play an important part in solutions. However current theories on cellulite suggest that we develop 'dimply derrières' as a result of a genetic predisposition, poor lymphatic circulation or changes in fat-cell activity due, mostly, to the effects of female hormones on tissue under the skin.
And there isn't much we can do about hormones!
So is Revitol the answer?
Well, the product has been a leader in at-home cellulite treatments for many years. It will improve your skin's texture 'thus reducing the appearance of cellulite.'
However no claims are made that the fat pockets will disappear.
It is, however rated well in comparison to competitor cellulite creams.
And with a three-month money back guarantee, there is a realistic amount of time to try before you can determine if the product is actually working.
After all, those stubborn fat pockets will not disappear instantly - and this product does not claim to be a miracle cure.
Which I for one find reassuring.
All cellulite creams are topical, and so Revitol, like all its competitors, requires you to continue using it to maintain results.
Which makes more sense of the 'two free tubes' special offers.
Revitol costs around $40 a tube (with better deals on bigger orders) which is *relatively* cheap in the anti-cellulite world. Perhaps this is why, in comparison with its competitors it gains the 'most consumers choice' award.
So does it really work?
Yes, say some consumers in independent forums.
'My dimpling and flabby skin is 60% better after 1-1/2 weeks and I'll continue to use it through out the summer (bathing suit season).'
So that's one solution to the costs - only use it through the summer. Which won't help if, as one reviewer said, your husband is 'complaining' over your rough dimply skin.
Personally, I'd get rid of the husband... but this is an anti-cellulite review not marriage guidance, so back to the customer comments.
'This product works as described,' says another user. '... it tightened my skin quite well. It's all gone now.'
Which is kind of sad, but important to remember. The effects only last as long as the tube.
Talking of tubes, there were some complaints about the effectiveness of various types of packaging - pumps that don't work and clogging of tubes.
But these seem to be from cheap offers and were possibly substandard or discontinued products; plus complaints were resolved and refunds made.
And the reviews are not overwhelmingly positive.
'I have tried it but sadly it did very little. I only saw a very small improvement,' said one lady who may not make it to the beach next summer.
Of course we cannot know how long this customer persevered with using it or how bad her cellulite was.
But it does emphasize the point that Revitol is not a cure.
It works, but you have to use it consistently and continually if you want to stay a beach babe.
