The book offers a drug-free TMJ therapy for sufferers who have tried a medical route with little or no success.Cons
Some users find the information overwhelming and none report immediate relief.Verdict
Although the claims of immediate relief from TMJ are not generally upheld by testimonials, users are seeing significant relief in a relatively brief time frame. If you suffer from TMJ, this book is certainly worth the money.
"TMJ No More" by Sandra Carter - REVIEW
The book claims to be able to cure TMJ forever without drugs, mouth guards or surgery. Her holistic approach encompasses exercises, dietary modifications and lifestyle changes all designed to work together to clear TMJ pain and symptoms. Carter’s 150-page book claims to be able to eliminate TMJ pain instantly, a claim that is difficult for any eBook to support.
TMJ Suffers Speak Out
“This guide is strongly recommended for anyone who is seriously looking for a natural way to get rid of their TMJ for good. The guide itself is very clean and professionally formatted. The PDF can be printed out and read in the comfort of your own home. There have been literally hundreds of testimonials that rave about TMJ No More, because this guide is the most in depth, comprehensive, and safe guide to cure the root problem causing TMJ and Bruxism.” ~Zach, OMGReviews.org
“I am happy to say that it worked wonders for me. My second day after trying some of the TMJ Exercises, my temporomandibular joint pain diminished significantly. After the first week my headaches were gone, and a few weeks after that I was completely cured of all my TMJ symptoms.” ~Katie, Squidoo.com
“The information is comprehensive, detailed, well presented, and easy to understand. A bonus of this program is that it works not only to cure teeth grinding but also TMJ for those who have entered into that stage of bruxism. If you are confused as to why I am recommending a TMJ treatment guide for teeth grinding, pls read my write-up on Teeth Grinding & TMJ. Hands down the best program in the market that I know of to treat teeth grinding / bruxism.” ~Julie Simpson, TeethGrindingTreatment.com
But Does it Work?
Like so many books toting holistic medicine, “TMJ No More” sounds a little like a fake solution to a real problem. The website is kitchy, designed with lots of big fonts and bright colors, meant to draw attention to outlandish claims of immediate cures and user testimonials that may or may not be from actual readers. Affiliate marketers the world around must believe that the more exclamation points and claims of “secret” information a website contains, the more convincing the sales pitch.
Despite the website’s lack of professionalism, however, the book does seem to be full of good information. Reviewers find it to be absolutely jam-packed with information designed to help TMJ sufferers, so much so that some labeled the contents as overwhelming. It is an easy read, however, so if you take it one piece at a time, the information should be manageable. After all, a complicated medical condition should not be expected to have a simple solution.
Reviewers are quick to point out that the claims of immediate relief are ambitious at best, but acknowledge that the system does appear to be effective with repeated application. It may not cure your TMJ today, but it does seem to be helping people who download the eBook and embrace its holistic lessons. An added bonus to the “TMJ No More” is that it is also helping people who suffer solely from teeth grinding.
The other really nice feature of this book that is not always seen in medically-oriented eBooks is that users have direct access to the author via a customer service team. If their TMJ is not typical or fails to respond to the methods in the books, the team can refer to Carter directly for an answer. One reviewer tried this customer service feature and received a response within two days.
All things considered, this book seems to be legitimate. Much of the content is based on lifestyle modification and exercises designed for TMJ – neither of which are generally harmful to the user. With all the positive feedback, it’s hard to believe that it isn’t working for a vast majority of sufferers.
