2 Carats of Princess-cut CZs Set in White Gold for the Perfect Wedding Set

I really enjoy jewelry and while I already have a wedding set, I donít mind looking at pretty jewelry, even wedding sets or two-piece sets and sometimes I buy them if the price is right. So when browsing Amazonís deals, I came across this beautiful ring set and wanted to learn more. It is not a diamond ring but a huge cubic zirconia and that is alright because the overall look of this ring is absolutely fabulous.†

I have never seen this type of ring before where the band is actually underneath the stone of the engagement portion of the ring.† It locks in between two smaller bands that are on the engagement ring and can be taken out before the wedding with the engagement ring worn on its own. Itís pretty neat actually.

Here are the basics before we get into the details.

Other Product Features
  • 2 Carat Total Weight Cubic Zirconias
  • Princess Cut Stones
  • 14 Carat White Gold
  • Resizable
  • Prong Setting
As stated, this ring is set up much differently than other common wedding sets in that the band portion does not sit on either side of the engagement ring.† It is also not split for the engagement ring to sit between and I really like how different it is.† For anyone who wants something different for their wedding ring and who cannot afford diamonds, this may very well be the perfect choice for you.

How Others Feel
Tess says, ďMy husband and I ordered a replacement ring for my wedding ring that became damaged. This ring is so much nicer that my first ring! It really is just as beautiful as the picture portrays!
Joshua states, ďThis brilliant item is crafted from magnificent 14 karat white gold, and is complete with a dazzling high polish finish which is sure to catch the eye of anyone who can appreciate itís beautiful design.Ē
Cubic Zirconia vs Diamonds

Many people think that cubic zirconias are a cheap diamond knock-off and they would be completely right.† Well, except for the fact that todayís stones are just as bright and brilliant as diamonds and for those who are on a budget, the price is right.† Most people today cannot tell the difference between a cubic zirconia and a diamond unless they are a jeweler.† Really, when you are out and about, are you going to take your ring off and allow others to examine it under a microscope? Not likelyÖ and itís totally up to you if you tell people if itís real diamonds or not. I say just let people assume what they will. Itís a beautiful ring either way!

At the end of the day, unless your ring needs repaired, nobody but you will know it is not a true diamond and that is all that matters.

I Love White Gold

I also love the fact that these brilliant stones are set in white gold rather than yellow or rose colored gold.† White gold has such a clean and crisp look to it and much more brilliant that silver which is another favorite metal of mine.† This gives the ring a much more polished look and really sets off the brilliance of the stones very nicely.† This is not cheap plating either like you would find in cubic zirconia rings of the past.† This ring is brilliant in every way and if I were in the market for a new wedding set, this is the one I would buy.

Is There Anything Bad?

Well, for those who have their hearts set on a real diamond wedding set then this may be a disappointment.† No matter how pretty a ring is or how brilliant the stone, it is not a diamond and that can truly be an issue for some.† The price of an exact ring like this but with 2 carats worth of diamonds would run about ten times as much as this one is selling for, so that is something to consider.

Conclusion

While these are not real diamonds, I would recommend this ring for those who may not be able to afford them.† It is a great starter ring for the young couple who would rather put their money into a down payment on a home rather than in a diamond.† The real stones can always be added later but at the end of the day cubic zirconias are so pretty that you may end up keeping it the way it is.†

Another option is if you want to replace your actual wedding set while you go on vacation or elsewhere that you donít want to risk losing the real thing. You can leave your set in a safety deposit box or lock box and wear this gorgeous set instead.
