ZetaClear Nail Fungus Removal (Topical Treatment) REVIEW - Here's what we found...
But, like athletes foot and other common fungal conditions, nail fungus is very common.
And difficult to eliminate!
But you are not alone; over 30 million Americans suffer from nail fungus. That means 60 million feet cloistered up in socks and shoes even when the sun comes out.
'Start leaving a footprint again,' say the makers of ZetaClear.
(Which means you can take off your shoes and socks in public!)
ZetaClear is a two-step homeopathic treatment that claims to kill nail fungus and clear those yellow, crumbling, painful toenails.
It combines a topical solution with a powerful homeopathic spray to help clear nail fungus fast.
And they promise a noticeable difference within weeks.
Firstly, apply the ZetaClear Solution under the surface of your nails.
Then combine this topical application with a homeopathic solution sprayed under the tongue to deliver ingredients to fight nail fungus directly into the bloodstream.
So what causes nail fungus and how can it be treated?
Well, the science of healthy nails is complex. The fungus is tough to treat because it loves living under your nail!
Under your nails it is warm and moist, perfect growing conditions .
So medication has to reach the site of the infection.
'The special soothing oils in our anti-fungal solution move under your nail to root of the fungus,' say ZetaClear.
These oils include jojoba, almond, tea tree, lemongrass and clove.
And the homeopathic spray uses blended ingredients that have been used to treat nail problems for decades.
So what do customers say about this product?
One website claimed to have conducted a volunteer test.
'Most of our test volunteers who took it for 5 months or more responded very positively to this herbal remedy,' they say.
And the product is also rated highly in comparison to other over-the-counter products.
And some customers are enthusiastic about their experiences.
'I bought one bottle of ZetaClear to try out, totally expecting it not to live up to its claims, and it began working immediately. Applied three times a day (as per the instructions), I found that the fungus was actually dying within two or three days.'
And s/he was not the only one:
'I had a fungus on two of my toes that I've tried everything on. Different products have helped to control the fungus and keep it from spreading. ZetaClear made it go away. It took about a year, but I have no more fungus!'
Very encouraging... however an equal number of people had the exact opposite to say:
'Have been using it twice a day for about month and see absolutly no improvement.'
And no one seems to know why it works for some people and not others:
'Why it works for some and not others have no idea,' said one baffled commentator.
And many warn that it may take some time to work.
If you are one of the fortunate ones for whom this product works, then it may take up to 2 months to get your nails completely clear.
So no one should expect immediate results - all nail fungus treatments need patience.
And there were a couple of other useful tips for using the product:
Clip as much of the nail away as possible exposing the fungus growing underneath and apply the topical solution when the skin is soft, for example after coming out of the shower.
Consult with your doctor before commencing treatment. Incomplete therapy could make the infection resistant.
So it seems that the jury is out on this product. I also found reports of difficulties getting through to customer service on the phone - so be sure to know your rights before your buy.
And ZetaClear is free of side effects.
'If you're suffering from nail fungus I'd at least give this stuff a shot,' said one user.
Which is not a wholehearted recommendation - but then again you could be one of the (roughly) half of commentators for whom this is a useful and effective product.
