Barron William Trump was born on March 20, 2006, in New York City. Having grown up inside of Trump Tower in New York City, where he has an entire floor to himself, Barron has always known a life of luxury.
20 Things You Never Knew About Barron Trump

Most of the Trump children have become well-known to the public over the years, but Barron Trump remains a family outlier. The youngest son of President Donald Trump first captivated the eyes of the world late on Election Night when he stood behind his father on the stage while victory was accepted. Barron, of course, looked more sleepy than jubilant on stage, which inadvertently won over the cold hearts of an America that was mostly happy the election cycle was finally over.
Since his father took office Barron has remained largely out of sight, but we've managed to learn quite a bit about about America's new boy-prince. For starters, his pre-White House living situation at Trump Tower was unimaginably sweet. Oh, and his mother used to moisturize his face with caviar — but you probably could have guessed that.

#20. Barron Trump Lives Like A King

In her interview with Parenting (via Redbook), Melania Trump revealed that Barron's Trump Tower digs are so sweet, he actually has an entire floor to himself, complete with his own personal flourishes like the incorporation of "planes and helicopters" into the decor of the rest of the house. Not only that, but it was no big deal if he wanted to draw all over the walls, because "we can paint it over," she said. No wonder that they weren't in a rush to move him into the White House.
And though he didn't get his own wing of the executive residence, his lifestyle didn't exactly getting downgraded. According to Inquisitr, the White House has a staff of 100 people who "will know what every member of the Trump family likes, as far as food, snacks, and personal items. This will be stocked and waiting for the family so they can obtain it at a moment's notice." Rumors even swirled that Barron was getting a Goldendoodle puppy named Patton to go along with his new home. However, as of this writing, Patton has yet to arrive.
#19. Does Barron Trump Have A Nanny?

In a September 2015 interview with People, Donald and Melania Trump insisted they did not use a nanny to help raise Barron Trump. "I like to be hands-on," Melania told the magazine. "I think it's very important. Barron is 9 years old. He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time. As you know my husband is traveling all the time."
Days after the interview was published, Donald, in true form, told the New York Post that there was, in fact, a "young woman" who "works with Barron." Still, to this day, reports describe Melania as being "really devoted" to her son; a source told the Post in November 2016 that Melania is often seen picking up Barron from school. That same source also claimed that Melania had not relied on nannies to help raise her kid. So, who knows what the heck is going on?
#18. Barron Trump Only Uses the Finest Skin Products

If you needed further proof that Barron Trump isn't your typical kid, try this one on for size: in 2013, his mother admitted to ABC News that, at the time, she applied her own line of caviar-infused moisturizer to his skin after he took his his nightly bath. "It smells very, very fresh," Melania Trump said of her Caviar Complex C6 skin care line. "I put it on him from head to toe. He likes it."
Unfortunately for the two of them, this tradition may have been short-lived; according to Racked, Melania's skin care line fell apart shortly after its high-profile launch.
#17. Barron Trump Doesnt Wear Sweatpants

As one might expect from someone born into a billion-dollar business family, Barron Trump has been dressing for success pretty much his entire life. He even wore a suit to the launch of his half-sister Ivanka Trump's book when he was only three and a half years old.
"He's not a sweatpants child," Melania Trump said while discussing her son with ABC News in 2013. "He doesn't mind putting on [a suit]-but not every day- and he likes to dress up in a tie sometimes like Daddy." But that's not to say that Barron doesn't like a little comfort. In fact, he sometimes pairs his prep school uniform with customized New Balance sneakers that reportedly cost $149, according to Footwear News. Yep, you read that right. The Trumps pay $149 for Barron's sneakers and something called Footwear News actually exists in reality.
#16. Barron Trump is the Only Child of Donald and Melania Trump

One thing about the 45th First Family to take note of is that it has a little bit more sprawl than the previous one, owing to Donald Trump's multiple children by three wives. Barron Trump, the youngest of the clan, is but one branch of a family tree that includes Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump Jr., born to Donald's first wife, Ivana Trump; as well as daughter Tiffany Trump, born to Donald's second wife, Marla Maples.
As for Barron, who was born on March 20, 2006, he's the only child of Donald and Melania Knauss Trump, who were married about a year prior to Barron's birth, in January 2005. Barron lived with his mom in their Trump Tower penthouse on Fifth Avenue in New York City, while dad moved into the White House after assuming his new role as POTUS, according to NBC News. However, Barron and his mom did join dear old dad in D.C. after he finished out his year at the prestigious and very-expensive Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, which had a reported yearly price tag of around $45,000.
#15. Barron Trump is the First Boy To Live in the White House in Decades

After making his move to Washington, Barron Trump officially become the first boy to grace the halls of the White House in almost 60 years. Yep, the last time America had a "First Boy" was all the way back in 1961, when John F. Kennedy's son, JFK Jr., moved into the White House when he was just a baby, according to CNN.
And Barron made his entrance to the presidential residence in true Trump fashion, exiting Marine One and strolling across the White House lawn to his new digs while wearing a shirt emblazoned with the words "The Expert." And here we thought Uncle Jared was the boy wonder of the family.
#14. Donald Trumps Former Butler Thinks Barron Trump is A Mini Version of His Dad

It's no secret First Lady Melania Trump thinks Barron takes after his dad, President Donald Trump, as she has openly stated so in the past. And interestingly enough, the Trump family's former butler, Tony Senecal, shares her take. Senecal explained that while he has a fondness for all of Donald's five kids, Barron is the most like his famous dad. Want some proof? Look no further than Senecal's anecdote about a conversation he had with a then 2-year-old Barron.
"When Baron was two and a half years old I took his breakfast into him," the ex-butler recalled, according to Inside Edition. "He was sitting in his highchair and he looks at me and he said: 'Tony! Sit down! We need to talk!'" Holy moly! Although we can't say whether this account is true, we can't say it's too hard to imagine. And who knows, maybe Barron will be shouting his dad's famous "You're fired!" line around one day. Never say never.
#13. Barron Trump is A Natural Athlete

Barron Trump may be headed for a future among the top athletes of the world — that is, if you take his dad's word for it. When Barron was nine years old, Donald Trump told People that his youngest born was "a very natural athlete" even though he was only "at that age where he's just starting to learn."
In November of 2018, the First Lady spoke at a forum at Liberty University, the institution founded by Jerry Falwell in Lynchburg, Virginia that has been crucial in shoring up Donald Trump's support on the religious right. Melania was there to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic as part of her "Be Best" initiative, and she shared a few details about her family's life in the White House. She shared that Barron is not on social media and that he is "all into sports."
#12. Barron Trump Attends St Andrews Episcopal School

While every president’s child over the past 35 years has attended Sidwell Friends, the White House has confirmed Barron is attending St. Andrew’s in Potomac, Maryland. He is the first presidential child to do so. In a statement, Melania praised the school for “its diverse community and commitment to academic excellence.”
However, school will look a bit different for Barron in 2020/21. The First Son is set to start ninth grade in September, but he will be doing so virtually. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, St. Andrew's recently announced they will begin classes with a virtual-learning-only plan. This announcement came just hours after Barron's father tweeted, "OPEN THE SCHOOLS!!!"
#11. Barron Trump Has A Creative Spark

What might not be immediately obvious about Barron Trump is his creative streak, a trait First Lady Melania Trump revealed in a chat with Parenting magazine in 2012. Melania shared a sweet anecdote to illustrate her claim, recalling an especially impressive moment of free play when Barron was young. "His imagination is growing and important," Melania said at the time (via Redbook). "He draws on the walls in his playroom, we can paint it over. One day he was playing bakery and he wrote Barron's Bakery on the wall with crayons. He is very creative, if you say to a child no, no, no, where does the creativity go?" How cute — it's clear Barron was a very imaginative tyke.
Of course, it's fair to reason Barron's free reign over his playroom had something to do with his artistic flair. Not many kids are allowed to draw on their playroom walls, after all.
#10. Melania Trump Intends To Keep Barron Trump Out of the Spotlight

Since Barron Trump's official appearances have been limited to traditional first family events like Inauguration Day festivities and the White House Easter Egg Roll, it seems like Donald and Melania Trump intend to uphold the tradition of keeping kids of first families mostly out of the public eye.
In an October 2016 interview with ABC News, Melania actually spelled it out. "I teach him, I explain to him so he knows what's going on," she said. "He's taking very well. I keep him balanced and — just have him a childhood as normal as possible. And he's enjoying his school and his sports. He's a great athlete. And I just want to have him — out of the spotlight for now."
That plan seems to be firmly in place, as of this writing, at least, according to the Washington Examiner which reported in December 2018 that Barron "rarely appears in public with his parents." Speaking with Fox News' Sean Hannity around the same time, Melania said that even though Barron isn't living "a normal life" since the family's move to Washington D.C., he is "enjoying" it there. She also said her efforts to "protect" him from public scrutiny are required to "give him the childhood he deserves."
#9. Barron Trump is Fluent in Two Languages

Although he reportedly takes after his father, Barron Trump has also inherited his mother's roots as well. According to a 2016 interview with GQ magazine, Melania Trump revealed that Barron "speaks Slovenian fluently." In fact, he speaks the language with his grandparents, who lived near Trump Tower, at the time of the interview.
Melania also once bragged to People in 2009 that at just three-years-old, Barron was also speaking French in addition to Slovenian and English. But two years later, during an appearance on The Joy Behar Show, Melania said, "Barron speaks two languages completely perfect. He goes from one thing to another, Slovenian/English." What happened to French? Was he just not fluent enough to mention it yet? Does Barron Trump own a beret? These are questions of national importance that need an answer.
#8. Barron Trump May Have Gotten Flavored E-Cigs Banned

United States President Donald Trump said that he and First Lady Melania Trump have asked their 13-year son Barron to not vape. He further said that they have warned their son about the health hazards of vaping. The US President made the statement on the lawn of the White House while responding to the question of a reporter on the evening of September 12. He also said that they told Barron that they don't like the feeling of him vaping and have repeatedly told him not to vape.
“We haven’t told him anything except, ‘Don’t vape. Don’t vape.’ We don’t like vaping. I don’t like vaping,” Trump said.
Earlier, the Trump administration had announced that it would ban the sale of vaping liquids used in e-cigarettes as they have been allegedly used by different companies as a marketing strategy that specifically targets children.
The US has witnessed people numbering up to more than a hundred falling sick with unknown lung problems and as many as 6 losing their lives to the horrors of vaping flavored e-cigarettes.
With the Food and Drug Administration ban coming into effect, organizations wanting to sell e-cigarettes will have to ask for official permits that would, in turn, allow them to sell their products. The entire process to get federal approvals may stretch to more than a year.
As of this writing, there has been neither confirmation nor denial of Barron's alleged vape use.
#7. Melania Trump Calls Barron Trump Mini Donald

Given that he loves to wear suits and moisturize his skin with caviar, it should surprise exactly no one that Melania Trump often refers to her only son as "little Donald" and "mini-Donald." "He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy," Melania told Parenting (via Redbook). "He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants. Sometimes I call him little Donald. He is a mixture of us in looks, but his personality is why I call him little Donald."
"When he was 5 years old, he wanted to be like daddy: a businessman and golfer," she added later in the interview. "He loves to build something and tear it down and build something else. He is very detailed at drawing. We travel often and he remembers everything he sees. Sometimes later the same day or the next he would build something like he saw or imagine something himself."
In a 2013 interview with ABC News, Melania again referred to Barron as "mini-Donald," which if we're being honest, has to sting a little for Barron's older half-brother, the actual Donald Jr.
#6. Donald Trump Didnt Change Barron Trumps Diapers

In that same interview with Parenting (via Redbook) Melania Trump said of her husband, "He didn't change diapers and I am completely fine with that. It is not important to me. It's all about what works for you. It's very important to know the person you're with. And we know our roles. I didn't want him to change the diapers or put Barron to bed. I love every minute of it."
But that's not to say that Donald Trump wasn't a doting dad in his own way. Melania also said that he and Barron love to play golf, eat dinner together and "enjoy family time" at Mar-a-Lago, the family's Florida getaway. Golf actually comes up a lot when Melania is asked about Donald's relationship with Barron, like in this 2015 People interview when she again said that the two men in her life "go alone for dinner, one-on-one" and "play golf together." Golf and dinner, huh? Sounds a bit more like the closing of a business deal than a loving father-son day.
#5. Barron Trumps Lives in $100 Million NYC Penthouse

Barron's Dad - The real estate mogul, IRL television villain, and presumptive GOP nominee for president, Donald Trump lives like a king. Who would have guessed? 58 stories above New York City, Donald, Melania, and Barron Trump reside in the penthouse apartment of Trump Tower, located at 725 Fifth Avenue. Valued at $100 million, the three-floor mansion in the sky is decorated with all of the over-the-top 18th century French embellishments you'd expect, including Louis XIV chairs and golden cherubs. Also lots of marble, mirrors, and crystals. With its sweeping views, from Central Park...to New Jersey, could this be better than the White House?
Donald Trump’s penthouse triplex in N.Y.C.’s Trump Tower is both shocking and exactly what you’d expect: gold walls, marble floors, ornate columns, Versailles-style furniture, enormous crystal chandeliers, frescoes on the ceiling and panoramic views of Manhattan and well beyond.
#4. Barron Trumps Nicknamed "Little Donald"

“He is a mixture of us in looks, but his personality is why I call him 'Little Donald,'” Melania told Parenting. “He is a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy. He is independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants.”
She also noted that Barron has spent a lot quality time with his father, mostly at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, where they would play golf, eat dinner together, and enjoy family time.
#3. Barron Trumps Life is Far From A Modern Family

As the youngest of the president’s five children, Barron has four half-siblings: Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric, as well as his older half-sister, Tiffany, from Trump's marriage to Marla Maples. He has six nephews — Theodore James Kushner, Donald Trump III, Joseph Frederick Kushner, Tristan Milos Trump, Spencer Frederick Trump and Eric Luke Trump — and four nieces — Arabella Rose Kushner, Chloe Sophia Trump, Carolina Dorothy and Kai Madison Trump, who is just one year his junior.
#2. Barron Trump is Melania's Most Prized Possession

"The most important and joyous role I ever had is to be a mother to my young son [Barron Trump]," the 47-year-old said. "What could possibly be a more essential focus in everyone's life than that of loving, educating and bringing up our next generation to be happy, productive and morally responsible adults."
Melania also stressed that parents teach their children the values of empathy and communication, which she explained, "Are at the core of kindness, mindfulness, integrity and leadership which can only be taught be example." She added, "We must never miss an opportunity to teach life's many ethical lessons along the way. As adults, we are not merely responsible, we are accountable."
#1. Barron Trumps Life at the White House

Barron and Melania stayed at Trump Tower for almost the first five months of Donald Trump's presidency, so that Barron could finish his studies at the Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School on the Upper West Side. He and his mom moved into the White House on June 11, 2017, and he now attends St. Andrew's Episcopal, a prep school in Maryland.
Barron is the first son of a president to reside in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1963. Although he stays out of the spotlight for the most part, he has turned up for some of the White House’s fun holiday-themed events in 2017, including the annual Easter Egg Roll in April, where he joined his parents in signing cards for members of the American Armed Forces. He also supported his father’s pardoning of the turkeys before Thanksgiving and soon after, stepped out with his mom on the North Portico to receive the official Christmas tree from Wisconsin, which went up on display in the White House's Blue Room.
