It's hard to talk about A Different World without mentioning that it was a spin-off of the wildly popular Cosby Show. While some characters made a reappearance in the spin-off series, the show didn't last past six seasons. Though that's not bad for a spin-off. Some of the more well-known characters didn't fare as well as the show did. Denise Huxtable, played by Lisa Bonet, was actually in a season of the show!
